Welcome to SOS Teen Driving!
SOS Teen Driving is a program to educate parents and teens to current issues
in teen driving. SOS is an international distress call for help. We believe
that this distress call should be made today. That distress call also means
Save Our Students which is what this program hopes to accomplish.
The program can be presented at your school or church and this web site shows
you how! A critical part of the program is a driving contract between
parents and teens that sets out the conditions for access to the vehicle and
the consequences for bad conduct. A key premise in the success of the
program is giving the teen a financial interest in good driving conduct by
making them pay for all or a portion of insurance, at fault accidents, and
driving violations.
The links at left will provide
you with all of the materials needed, including Power Point slides, to
present all or part of the SOS Teen Driving Program at your school or
church. They also provide helpful tips on parenting, saving money on
insurance and a form teen driving contract.
You can make a difference! Get involved with distributing these materials at
your school or church, or by actually organizing a program.
